Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to patients as a certified nursing assistant
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility)
• Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
• Support safe transfers and ambulation to reduce fall risk
• Document patient care accurately and promptly in the chart
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for patients and families
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver excellent care

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
• Current state CNA credential or ability to obtain prior to start
• Comfort working night shifts and in fast-paced clinical settings
• Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude
• Previous experience in long-term care, acute care, or similar settings is a plus

Education

• CNA certification required
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in basic patient care and comfort measures
• Able to take and record vital signs accurately
• Familiarity with infection control and safety procedures
• Reliable documentation and time-management habits
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills and empathy
