Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care to patients and support their daily living activities
Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility and safe transfers
Measure and record vital signs, reporting changes to the nursing team
Maintain clear, timely documentation to support high-quality care
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver coordinated care
Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

Active CNA certification in California (required)
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Comfortable working 12-hour day shifts and adapting to per diem scheduling
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
Compassionate, patient-focused mindset with attention to detail

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential

Knowledge & Skills

Patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
Vital signs measurement and basic clinical observation
Accurate charting and documentation
Infection control practices and facility safety standards
Clear communication and teamwork in a healthcare setting
Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
