Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate critical care to adult ICU patients
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and hemodynamic data
Administer medications and IV therapies accurately and safely
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document clearly in the chart
Respond quickly and confidently to clinical emergencies and changes in condition
Educate patients and families about care plans, treatments, and next steps

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse license in California
Experience or background in ICU/critical care nursing
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) preferred
Current clinical competency in medication administration and critical care monitoring
Strong teamwork, communication, and patient advocacy skills

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Critical care assessment and patient monitoring
Cardiac rhythm interpretation and cardiac monitoring
IV therapy, medication administration, and titratable drips
Familiarity with ventilator basics and respiratory support
Accurate electronic health record documentation
Ability to prioritize in fast-paced, high-acuity settings
