Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
Perform routine observations and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
Assist with safe patient transfers, ambulation, and positioning
Maintain patient dignity and comfort while supporting hygiene and toileting needs
Document care accurately and communicate effectively with the care team
Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

Active CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) certification in the state of California
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or required per facility
Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass required health screenings
Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Reliable transportation and professional, patient-centered demeanor

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient care and bedside assistance skills
Knowledge of infection control and basic clinical procedures
Good oral and written communication with patients and team members
Basic charting and documentation skills
Time management and ability to work in a fast-paced clinical setting
