Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, safe overnight nursing care to MST-assigned patients
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and communicate changes promptly
• Administer medications and treatments accurately while following protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
• Maintain clear, timely documentation in the patient record
• Support patient and family education with empathy and clarity
• Respond effectively to emergencies and escalate concerns as needed

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in California (required)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred
• Previous acute care or medical-surgical nursing experience preferred
• Comfort working independently during overnight shifts with strong critical-thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and clinical decision-making
• Medication administration and IV therapy competence
• Ability to prioritize care in a fast-paced night shift environment
• Clear clinical documentation and handoff communication
• Professionalism, adaptability, and patient-centered care mindset
