Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding
Monitor and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
Assist with safe patient transfers and mobility to prevent falls
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
Document care activities clearly in patient records and communicate with the care team
Support patients' emotional needs and promote dignity and comfort

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification in California (required)
Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred or obtain upon hire)
High school diploma or GED
Previous experience as a CNA or in direct patient care preferred
Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and any facility-required onboarding

Education

High school diploma or GED
Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable with ADLs (activities of daily living) and basic patient care
Skill in taking and documenting vital signs accurately
Knowledge of infection control and patient safety practices
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Basic electronic charting or paper charting familiarity
