Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients on the MST unit during overnight hours
Monitor telemetry, vital signs and clinical status, and respond promptly to changes
Administer medications and treatments safely, documenting all interventions accurately
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement and update individualized care plans
Perform thorough handoffs and maintain clear, timely documentation in the medical record
Educate patients and families with clear, supportive instructions and assist with discharge planning

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
Current BLS required; ACLS preferred
Prefer 1+ year clinical experience in medical-surgical, telemetry, or similar inpatient settings
Comfortable working overnight 12-hour shifts
Current CPR and required facility background checks and immunizations

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm recognition
IV therapy, medication administration and safe documentation
Strong patient assessment and clinical judgment
Effective communication and teamwork in fast-paced settings
Familiarity with electronic health records and timely charting
Prioritization and triage skills during overnight coverage
