Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on MST units
Assess patient condition and plan/implement nursing interventions
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize care
Monitor telemetry and respond promptly to changes in patient status
Document care thoroughly and maintain clear communication with families
Support discharge planning and patient education to promote recovery

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California (required)
Current BLS certification; ACLS and PALS highly recommended
Experience with medical-surgical and telemetry patients preferred
Comfortable with overnight/night shift responsibilities
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and time management skills
Positive teamwork attitude and excellent communication abilities

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) — BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and interpretation
IV therapy, medication administration, and patient assessment
Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation
Care coordination and effective interdisciplinary collaboration
Infection control practices and patient safety protocols
