Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care as an RN on MST assignments
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop plans of care tailored to each patient
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
• Deliver trauma-informed care and support for patients served by MST
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and improve outcomes
• Respond to acute changes in condition and escalate concerns appropriately
• Maintain clear, timely charting in the electronic medical record

Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse license (California)
• Comfortable providing trauma-informed care; MST experience is a plus
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; advanced certifications (ACLS, PALS) encouraged
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently on per diem assignments and integrate quickly with local teams

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Completion of required state licensure and certifications

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient assessment, medication administration, and wound care
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate clinical documentation
• Trauma-informed care principles, especially related to MST populations
• Ability to prioritize, triage, and manage time during overnight shifts
• Effective teamwork and clear communication with multidisciplinary staff
