Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, trauma-informed nursing care for patients with MST needs
• Assess patients, triage concerns, and implement appropriate nursing interventions
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document in the EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and adjust patient care plans
• Educate patients and families with clear, empathetic communication
• Monitor patient progress and escalate changes in condition in a timely manner
• Contribute to a positive, respectful workplace and support teammates during busy shifts

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in California (required)
• Experience working with MST (Military Sexual Trauma) or trauma-informed populations is a plus
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS/PALS as applicable or preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Comfortable documenting in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; patient-centered approach

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Trauma-informed care principles and sensitivity around MST issues
• Clinical assessment and nursing judgment for acute and chronic needs
• Medication administration and IV/infusion experience
• Familiarity with EMR documentation and care coordination
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage an overnight caseload
• Strong interpersonal skills for patient and team communication
