Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to assigned patients
• Perform thorough patient assessments and document findings clearly
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Monitor patient status overnight and escalate changes promptly
• Educate patients and families with clear, respectful communication
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and handoffs at shift change

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — California licensure ideal
• Comfortable working 12-hour overnight shifts and managing acuity
• Experience or interest in MST specialty care (listed as a primary skill)
• Current BLS required; ACLS or other certifications encouraged
• Strong clinical judgment, assessment skills, and bedside manner
• Dependable, team-oriented, and able to communicate well with patients and staff

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Completion of an accredited nursing program and RN licensure

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient assessment, medication administration, and documentation
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and accurate charting
• Ability to triage, prioritize, and respond to overnight patient needs
• Comfortable with telemetry/monitoring and recognizing clinical changes
• Team collaboration, clear shift handoffs, and patient-centered communication
