Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, skilled nursing care to patients within the MST specialty
Assess patient condition and implement individualized care plans
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Monitor patient status and escalate concerns to the care team promptly
Document care thoroughly and maintain accurate clinical records
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
Educate patients and families about care plans, treatments, and follow-up

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California or compact licensure as applicable
Experience or interest in the MST specialty (specific training can be provided)
Current BLS; ACLS or other specialty certifications as relevant to the unit preferred
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Comfortable working overnight shifts and adapting to per diem scheduling

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Solid patient assessment and triage skills
Medication administration and IV therapy competence
Clear, timely clinical documentation and charting
Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Calm, decisive response to urgent or emergent patient needs
Patient and family education delivered with empathy and clarity
