Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care during overnight shifts for assigned patients
Perform thorough assessments, monitor patient status, and communicate findings to the care team
Administer medications and treatments safely and document care accurately
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and execute patient care plans
Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies and changes in patient condition
Support patient and family education with clear, empathetic communication

Qualifications

Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license required
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred
Experience in acute care, med-surg, telemetry, or related nursing practice preferred
Comfortable working independently during night shifts with strong clinical judgment
Valid immunizations and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills
Proficient in medication administration and electronic charting
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced overnight environment
Familiarity with common inpatient equipment and monitoring devices
