Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care and advocate for each person on your caseload
• Perform thorough assessments, monitor patient status, and escalate concerns promptly
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and carry out individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and discharge plans in clear, respectful language
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation and comply with facility policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in North Carolina (or compact RN with NC privileges as applicable)
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (recommended/required by facility)
• Clinical experience working in acute care or a similar setting preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, time management, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Clean background check and compliance with required immunizations and health screenings

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN) or equivalent nursing diploma
• Ongoing professional development and completion of required facility orientation

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in patient assessment and clinical monitoring
• Medication administration and safe documentation practices
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and accurate charting
• Skilled in IV therapy, wound care, and basic procedures (as applicable)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills with patients, families, and staff
• Strong infection control practices and attention to safety protocols
