Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM and 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, one-on-one care to laboring mothers and newborns
Monitor and interpret fetal heart strips to ensure safe deliveries
Titrate critical drips like Pitocin, magnesium, and insulin with precision
Float to Med-Surg and ER units when needed, showcasing your versatility
Collaborate with a dedicated Charge Nurse and supportive care team
Follow AWHONN guidelines to maintain safe nurse-to-patient ratios

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS certification required
ACLS, NRP, and STABLE preferred
Previous travel nursing experience a plus
Strong critical thinking and adaptability

Knowledge & Skills

Fetal monitoring and strip interpretation
Drip titration for Pitocin, magnesium, and insulin
Critical thinking under pressure
Meditech EMR experience
Philips telemetry monitoring
Ability to float across units as needed
