Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality critical care for ICU patients, including trauma and burn cases
• Perform wound care, manage EVDs and participate in MTP and code responses
• Monitor and operate critical care equipment, ensuring patient safety
• Maintain accurate documentation in Meditech EMR and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Prioritize and manage patient ratios in a fast-paced ICU environment
• Collaborate with colleagues, ask questions when needed, and support peers during high-acuity situations

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Minimum of 1 year ICU nursing experience (Trauma, Burn or Surgical ICU experience required)
• Strong communication skills and critical thinking ability
• BSN preferred
• CCRN preferred
• Experience with Meditech EMR and critical care equipment is a plus

Education

• Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Critical care nursing and patient ratio management (ICU 2:1)
• Trauma, burn and surgical ICU procedures and protocols
• Wound care, EVD management, Massive Transfusion Protocol (MTP) and codes
• Proficiency with Meditech electronic medical record
• Strong clinical judgment, communication and team-based collaboration
