Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
Perform rapid triage and focused clinical assessments in high-acuity situations
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Collaborate closely with physicians, techs, and the ED team to coordinate patient care
Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress clearly in the EHR
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up
Respond calmly and effectively to trauma and resuscitation events
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards

Qualifications

Current, active RN license in New Hampshire or ability to obtain licensure
Experience or interest in Emergency Department (ED/ER) nursing
Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and triage skills
Current immunizations and any required facility health screenings

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in emergency triage, acute care, and rapid patient assessment
Proficient with medication administration and IV therapy basics
Comfortable with EHR documentation and clinical charting
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and remain composed under pressure
Excellent communication and teamwork skills with patients and clinical staff
