Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert peri-procedural nursing care in the cardiac cath lab for diagnostic and interventional cases
• Perform and support procedures such as LHC/PCI, TAVR, Structural Heart (ASD/PFO) and EP studies/ablations
• Assist with advanced imaging and intracoronary tools including IVUS and FFR during procedures
• Collaborate closely with cardiologists, technologists and the interdisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and excellent outcomes
• Document care accurately in Meditech EMR and communicate clearly during handoffs
• Prepare patients, manage procedural equipment, and respond to emergent situations with calm, clinical precision

Qualifications

• Active RN license (must be in good standing)
• Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience (cardiac cath lab experience preferred)
• Hands-on experience with LHC/PCI and Structural Heart procedures (ASD/PFO) — required
• Experience with TAVR, EP Study/Ablation, IVUS and FFR is highly desirable
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR and GE imaging equipment
• Flexible, team-oriented personality suited to a fast-paced procedural unit

Education

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure

Knowledge & Skills

• Cardiac cath lab workflow and peri-procedural nursing
• LHC/PCI techniques and structural heart procedure support
• TAVR and structural device familiarity
• EP study and ablation support (preferred)
• Experience with IVUS, FFR and GE X-ray imaging
• Proficiency using Meditech EMR for documentation and orders
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and emergency response skills
