Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality pre-, intra-, and post-procedural nursing care in the Cardiac Cath Lab for EP, IR, Neuro, Vascular and cardiac cases
• Support the interventional team during procedures by preparing equipment, maintaining sterile technique, and operating imaging equipment as appropriate
• Perform patient assessments, monitor hemodynamics, and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Document care accurately in Epic and communicate effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary team members
• Assist with orientation and collaborate with staff to ensure smooth team transitions and patient flow
• Participate in call rotations and provide compassionate, timely care during emergent situations

Qualifications

• Active RN license (must have) and current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of relevant Cath Lab or interventional experience (experience across multiple service lines preferred)
• Hands-on experience or comfort working in EP, IR, Neuro, Vascular, and Cardiac service lines (must have experience in at least 3 modalities)
• Familiarity with Philips C-arms and Merge Vericis hemodynamic systems a plus
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• RCIS or ARRT credentials for tech roles (if applying as a tech) plus BLS/ACLS

Education

• Active RN license required; appropriate tech credentials (RCIS/ARRT) required for technician roles
• BLS and ACLS certifications required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical judgment in invasive cardiology and interventional procedures
• Proficiency with Philips imaging equipment and Merge Vericis hemodynamic systems
• Comfortable using Epic for charting and order workflows
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills for fast-paced procedural environments
• Ability to maintain sterile technique and follow Cath Lab protocols
• Flexible, self-starter attitude with the ability to take direction and adapt to changing case mixes
