Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic exams for emergency, inpatient, and outpatient patients with accuracy and compassion
• Operate imaging equipment safely and according to facility protocols to produce high-quality images
• Collaborate with ED clinicians and unit staff to prioritize urgent imaging needs and improve patient flow
• Maintain patient identification, positioning, and radiation safety standards at all times
• Document procedures, complete required checklists, and ensure license and certification records are current
• Participate in competency testing and skills checklists to maintain clinical proficiency

Qualifications

• Active Radiologic Technologist licensure/certification as required by state and facility (License/Certificate Verification required)
• Current BLS certification
• Emergency Department imaging experience preferred
• Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist as required
• Up-to-date immunizations and health screening: COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza vaccine, 2-step PPD or IGRA, Varicella, fit test, physical/health statement, and Trinity 10-panel drug screen
• Color vision screening clearance

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven skills in outpatient and inpatient radiography and ED imaging workflows
• Strong patient positioning and image acquisition techniques
• Knowledge of radiation safety principles and infection control
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced emergency department environment
• Good communication skills to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
