Roles & Responsibilities

Perform orthopedic radiographic exams accurately and efficiently to support excellent patient care
Operate and manage imaging systems including Merge PACS and Epic workflows
Position patients and select protocols to produce high-quality diagnostic images
Ensure proper patient identification, safety, and radiation protection practices
Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and clinical teams to optimize imaging services
Complete required Trinity specialty competency testing and skills checklists as part of quality assurance
Maintain clear, timely documentation in Epic and imaging systems

Qualifications

ARRT certification required
BLS certification required
Demonstrated experience with Epic and Merge PACS (explicitly required)
License/certificate verification required per facility policy
Successful completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
Must meet pre-employment health requirements (drug screen, fit test, vaccinations, TB testing)

Knowledge & Skills

Orthopedic radiology techniques and protocols
Proficiency with PACS (Merge) and Epic imaging workflows
Strong patient positioning and image acquisition skills
Understanding of radiation safety and infection control procedures
Good communication and teamwork skills in a clinical environment
Comfort with competency testing and skills validation processes
