Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic evaluations and design individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
• Deliver therapeutic exercises and activities to improve strength, range of motion, and fine-motor coordination
• Instruct patients and families in adaptive techniques, ADL training, and safe transfer methods
• Perform home assessments and recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications
• Document timely and accurate patient records and write evaluations in accordance with departmental standards
• Administer sensorimotor integration and visual perceptual-motor remediation programs
• Develop and run prevocational programs to help patients return to or enter the workforce
• Consult with schools, nursing homes, visiting nurse associations, and hospitals on patient needs and adaptive solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy required
• Current valid Washington State Occupational Therapist license required (or actively in process of obtaining)
• One year of clinical experience preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply
• Ability to complete required mandatory education and maintain regulatory requirements
• Professional appearance, reliable attendance, and effective communication skills

Education

• Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy

• Therapeutic exercises and range of motion techniques
• Fine-motor coordination training and ADL instruction
• Patient evaluation, treatment planning, and documentation
• Splinting and adaptive equipment recommendations

• HIPAA compliance and confidential record-keeping
• Strong written and verbal communication and report-writing skills
