Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough, patient-centered occupational therapy evaluations to identify functional needs and goals
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote independence in activities of daily living
• Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions, adaptive equipment recommendations, and splinting as appropriate
• Collaborate closely with nurses, PTs, SLPs, physicians, and family members to optimize patient outcomes
• Document patient progress accurately and timely in the medical record
• Educate patients and caregivers on home programs, adaptive strategies, and safety
• Participate in team meetings, discharge planning, and quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in New Hampshire, or eligible for NH licensure
• NBCOT certification preferred or in progress
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced rehab setting with a collaborative mindset
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-first attitude

Education

• Master's degree or OTD in Occupational Therapy required

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in ADL assessment and adaptive strategies
• Experience with therapeutic activities, splinting, and assistive devices
• Strong clinical reasoning and goal-setting abilities
• Proficient documentation skills and the ability to work within an interdisciplinary team
• Ability to adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and medical status
