Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to improve daily living skills
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient-centered care
• Educate patients and families on adaptive strategies, equipment, and home programs
• Document progress, outcomes, and treatment plans accurately and timely
• Adapt interventions based on ongoing assessment and patient response

Qualifications

• Active California Occupational Therapy license (required)
• Current BLS/CPR certification per facility policy
• NBCOT certification preferred where applicable
• Previous clinical or travel OT experience preferred; ready to hit the ground running on a 13-week assignment
• Professional, compassionate communicator who thrives on teamwork

Education

• Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program (OTR, MS/OTD)

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient assessment, goal-setting, and outcome measurement
• Experience with adaptive equipment, splinting fundamentals, and activity analysis
• Strong clinical documentation and electronic medical record familiarity
• Ability to prioritize caseloads and collaborate effectively with nursing and rehab teams
• Patient- and family-centered education and coaching skills
