Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the outpatient Specialty Clinic team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care
• Optimize clinic operations, patient flow, scheduling, and referral coordination to improve access and throughput
• Standardize workflows and drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, and patient experience
• Ensure clinical policies, procedures, and competencies are current and consistently followed
• Monitor key performance metrics and implement corrective actions to meet quality indicators
• Recruit, orient, and develop staff while maintaining appropriate daily staffing levels
• Maintain Joint Commission readiness and oversee infection control and safety compliance
• Recommend and manage clinical supplies and equipment needs

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license in the U.S. (Alaska license or ability to obtain within 6 months)
• Minimum 5 years of varied RN experience, including at least 1 year in ambulatory care
• At least 2 years of supervisory/managerial experience in healthcare
• Active BLS certification
• Clinical competency achieved within 3 months of hire and maintained every three years
• Manager competency achieved within 3 months of hire and maintained every three years
• Proof of ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs. and perform essential physical tasks

Education

• Associate's degree in Nursing required
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of the nursing process and ambulatory care best practices
• Experience with patient flow optimization, scheduling, and referral coordination
• Strong leadership, change management, and team-building skills
• Excellent oral and written communication and customer service skills
• Familiarity with quality improvement methods and performance metrics
• Infection control and safety principles
• Comfort with clinical equipment and basic computer systems
