Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging studies accurately and efficiently while prioritizing patient safety
• Operate and troubleshoot CT equipment, ensuring adherence to imaging protocols
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain steps clearly, and provide compassionate care
• Administer IV contrast and monitor patients as appropriate and according to policy
• Maintain complete, accurate imaging records and assist with image routing to PACS/DICOM
• Follow infection control, safety standards, and Trinity Skills Checklist requirements
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and clinical staff to support diagnostic quality
• Participate in quality assurance, equipment checks, and required competency validations

Qualifications

• Valid CT technologist license/certification as required by the state
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Successful License/Certificate Verification completion
• Completion of Trinity Skills Checklist and required pre-employment screenings
• Compliance with workplace health requirements (vaccinations, fit test, drug screen)
• Strong patient communication skills and attention to detail

Knowledge & Skills

• Thorough knowledge of CT imaging protocols and patient positioning
• Radiation safety principles and best practices
• Familiarity with PACS/DICOM workflows and image documentation
• Skill in IV contrast administration and patient monitoring
• Ability to operate and perform basic maintenance checks on CT scanners
• Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork in a clinical environment
