Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform routine and special laboratory assays across all clinical laboratory sections to support diagnosis and treatment
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instrumentation to ensure reliable results
• Evaluate and validate test data, exercising independent judgment before result reporting
• Process and analyze patient specimens with care and precision
• Communicate laboratory findings clearly with physicians, pathologists, and nursing staff
• Maintain strict quality control and documentation to meet regulatory standards
• Troubleshoot equipment or assay issues and escalate when appropriate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology (required)
• ASCP Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) certification (required)
• Experience performing clinical laboratory testing, specimen processing, and result validation
• Familiarity with EPIC, Vitros, Unity, and WellSky preferred
• ASCP specialty certifications preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred
• Able to function safely at high elevation (approximately 8,000 ft); must be in good health for low-oxygen environment
• Travelers must secure their own housing for the assignment

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology (required)
• ASCP MLS certification (required)
