Roles & Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and provide friendly, compassionate care during each visit
Take and record vitals accurately, ensuring clean, current documentation
Prepare exam rooms and assist clinicians with procedures and exams
Perform basic clinical tasks (e.g., specimen collection, point-of-care testing) with attention to safety
Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic health system and support chart management
Communicate clearly with patients and the care team to coordinate efficient workflow
Support infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Medical Assistant diploma preferred
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Comfortable working 4-hour clinical shifts and participating in orientation
Strong patient-service orientation and professional communication skills
Ability to pass background and health screening requirements

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required
Medical Assistant certificate or related vocational training preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Solid clinical fundamentals: vitals, basic specimen handling, room preparation
Comfort with electronic health record documentation and charting
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to put patients at ease
Reliable time management and ability to work in a fast-paced clinic
Attention to detail and commitment to following clinical protocols
