Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 4-hour ambulatory shift (exact start/end times and days to be confirmed) — orientation required

Candidate Pay Rate: $29 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Greet and room patients with warmth and professionalism
Take and document vital signs and basic clinical measurements
Prepare exam rooms and ensure supplies are stocked
Assist clinicians with procedures and patient care tasks
Maintain accurate patient records and update electronic charts
Support patient flow and scheduling to keep the clinic running smoothly
Communicate clearly with patients about next steps and follow-up instructions

Qualifications

Experience as a Medical Assistant in an ambulatory or clinic setting preferred
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification is a plus
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Strong customer service skills and a patient-centered attitude
Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinic environment and adapting during orientation

Education

High school diploma or GED required
Medical Assistant certificate or diploma preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency taking vital signs and basic clinical procedures
Familiarity with ambulatory clinic workflows and patient intake
Comfort using electronic health records and basic computer skills
Excellent verbal and written communication with patients and team members
Good organizational skills and attention to detail
