Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic echocardiography and cardiac ultrasound studies with precision and compassion
• Operate sonography equipment and ensure high-quality imaging for accurate physician interpretation
• Prioritize patient safety and comfort while providing clear instructions and reassurance
• Collaborate with the clinical team to relay critical findings and support patient care decisions
• Maintain accurate documentation and complete required competency checklists and specialty exams
• Participate in on-call rotations for nights and weekends as scheduled

Qualifications

• ARDMS (or equivalent) registration required for echocardiography
• Current BLS certification required
• DCI/BVP certification listed as required in credentialing
• Demonstrated experience in echocardiography/cardiac ultrasound and sonography
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations (nights and weekends)
• Successful completion of license/certificate verification, drug screen, fit testing, and required immunizations

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong echocardiography and cardiac ultrasound skills
• Proficiency in diagnostic sonography techniques
• Solid patient care and communication skills
• Ability to perform under call rotation schedules and adapt to varying clinical demands
• Familiarity with core competency and specialty exam processes
