Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 8 hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM or 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM with variable weekend call typically 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM and weekday call 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $90 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional care in the CVOR handling cases like CABGs, AVRs, and AAA repairs
Collaborate with charge nurses, team leads, and OR techs in a 1:1 ratio environment
Respond swiftly to call with a 30-minute response time to support urgent needs
Scrub and circulate as needed to keep surgeries running smoothly
Support heart team productivity by assisting other service lines when cases are light

Qualifications

Active RN license with minimum 2 years of CVOR experience
Travel nursing experience preferred for seamless integration
ACLS and BLS certifications required
Flexibility with variable scheduling including call, weekends, and holidays

Education

RN degree from accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in Cerner EMR system
Proficiency in cardiovascular operating room procedures
Strong teamwork in union environment with friendly perm staff
Comfort with variable case volumes from 1-4 weekly
