Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging exams while prioritizing patient safety and comfort
• Operate CT equipment and select appropriate imaging protocols for each study
• Collaborate with radiologists and the care team to ensure accurate, timely imaging results
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control policies at all times
• Prepare patients for procedures, including contrast administration and monitoring when required
• Maintain accurate patient records in PACS/RIS and support efficient image workflow

Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification or equivalent registry in Radiologic Technology with CT experience
• State licensure in Tennessee or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Minimum of 2 years of CT technologist experience (per job posting)
• CPR/BLS certification as required by facility
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently on night shifts

Education

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field required
• CT-specific certification or advanced training preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of CT imaging protocols and cross-sectional anatomy
• Proficiency with PACS, RIS and electronic health records
• Understanding of radiation dose optimization and safety principles
• Experience with contrast media administration and monitoring
• Excellent patient positioning and image quality assessment skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced imaging environment
