Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging for emergency and trauma patients using GE and Siemens scanners
• Prioritize timely stroke and trauma protocols to support rapid diagnosis and treatment
• Operate Terra Recon/reformat tools (or similar platforms) for advanced reconstructions
• Document exams accurately using Meditech and GE Centricity to ensure clear patient records
• Communicate compassionately with patients using AIDET principles to create a calm experience
• Collaborate closely with ED staff and techs to maintain efficient turnaround times
• Maintain equipment and follow unit policies to ensure safety and reliability on night shifts

Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification (required)
• Valid Florida radiologic technologist license (required)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year CT experience (ED/trauma or comparable experience preferred)
• GE CT experience is a must; Terra Recon or reformat experience on another platform highly desired
• Experience with trauma and stroke protocols preferred; comfort working overnight in an ED setting

Education

• ARRT (CT) certification required; specific degree not stated in job text

Knowledge & Skills

• CT imaging workflow and patient safety best practices
• Hands-on experience with GE (and Siemens) CT systems
• Terra Recon or equivalent reformatting/reconstruction tools
• Electronic documentation using Meditech and GE Centricity

• Clear patient communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment
