Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging studies including Head, Chest, Abdomen/Pelvis and CTA protocols to support accurate diagnoses
• Operate and maintain GE CT scanners and ensure equipment readiness for daily scanning volume
• Start IVs safely and efficiently when required to support contrast-enhanced studies
• Use Synapse PACS and EPIC Radiant for accurate image capture, charting and communication with the care team
• Deliver compassionate patient care while managing a busy caseload of approximately 30-40 studies per day
• Follow radiation safety procedures and comply with facility policies, including badge requirements provided by your agency
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists and nursing staff to prioritize emergent studies and ensure timely results

Qualifications

• Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT) and Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R)
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of CT experience (hands-on, routine CT imaging)
• Comfortable and experienced with IV starts for contrast studies
• Proficiency with Synapse PACS and EPIC Radiant charting systems
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays as required
• Able to be in-state for orientation week; driver license must be submitted per facility radius policy

Education

• No BSN required
• Relevant radiologic technologist education and ARRT certifications (ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT))

Knowledge & Skills

• Advanced CT imaging techniques: routine CT, CTA Head/Chest, Calcium Scoring
• Strong PACS workflow skills (Synapse) and EMR charting (EPIC Radiant)
• Experience operating GE CT scanners and troubleshooting basic equipment issues
• High-volume workflow management and time efficiency for 30-40 studies/day
• Patient positioning, contrast administration and safety practices
• Clear communication with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams
