Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging studies across a variety of outpatient and acute indications
• Prepare patients for procedures including IV insertion and contrast administration with care and professionalism
• Operate and troubleshoot CT scanners (GE and Siemens familiarity preferred) to maintain workflow
• Accurately document procedures and images in EPIC and Fuji Synapse PACS for timely radiologist review
• Collaborate with radiologists, nursing staff, and supervisors to ensure patient safety and optimal image quality
• Manage a busy caseload (average ~25 studies/day) while maintaining compassionate patient care
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and departmental policies, and maintain scanner/room readiness

Qualifications

• Current ARRT CT certification (Certified CT Technologist required)
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience preferred
• Comfortable performing IV starts and managing contrast administration
• Experience with EPIC and Fuji Synapse PACS preferred
• Experience with GE and Siemens CT equipment is a plus
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet a 60-mile radius requirement; agency to provide rad badge
• Able to work weekends and holidays as required

Education

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field, or equivalent training
• ARRT (CT) certification required; BLS (AHA) required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong working knowledge of computed tomography imaging principles and protocols
• Proficient in Epic charting and Fuji Synapse PACS image management
• Skilled in IV insertion and contrast handling with attention to patient safety
• Familiarity with GE and Siemens CT scanners and routine troubleshooting
• Excellent patient communication and positioning skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a Level 1 trauma environment and adapt to a high-volume workload
