Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living with compassion and respect
• Provide safe, hands-on care such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility assistance
• Take and record vital signs and promptly report changes to the nursing team
• Document patient care accurately and maintain clear communication with coworkers
• Support a comfortable, dignified environment for patients and their families
• Collaborate with nurses and other staff to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — California preferred
• Active CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain one promptly
• Comfortable providing hands-on patient care and working as part of a care team
• Ability to pass required background checks, TB screening, and health clearances
• Professional, reliable, and punctual with a caring bedside manner

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of basic patient care and safety practices
• Ability to take and accurately record vital signs
• Familiarity with infection control procedures and personal protective equipment
• Clear, compassionate communication with patients, families, and staff
• Basic charting and documentation skills; ability to follow care plans
• Time management and teamwork in a fast-paced clinical setting
