Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on direct patient care as a Certified Nursing Assistant
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
• Support safe patient transfers and maintain a clean, safe care environment
• Document care accurately in patient records and follow facility policies
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver excellent care

Qualifications

• Valid CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) certification — required
• Active state authorization to practice in California (if applicable)
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass background checks and required facility screenings
• Compassionate patient-first mindset and strong communication skills

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program and certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Understanding of basic patient care and safety procedures
• Ability to safely assist with transfers and mobility support
• Familiarity with charting and basic documentation practices
• Strong teamwork and communication with nursing staff and leadership
• Attention to detail and ability to follow care plans
