Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, attentive direct care to patients, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and report changes in patients' conditions to the nursing team promptly
• Assist with safe patient transfers, positioning, and mobility to reduce risk of injury
• Follow care plans and documentation protocols accurately and on time
• Support a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for patients
• Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Contribute to team goals by being dependable, professional, and patient-centered

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required
• Current basic life support or CPR certification preferred
• Comfortable with patient lifting, transfers, and physical caregiving duties
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well on a team
• Previous experience in a clinical or long-term care setting a plus

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care and infection control practices
• Skill in safe patient handling and use of mobility aids
• Familiarity with basic charting and documentation
• Ability to follow care plans and accept direction from nursing staff
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong observational skills
