Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients, helping with activities of daily living
• Assist patients with mobility, transfers, bathing, dressing and feeding as needed
• Take and accurately document vital signs and patient observations
• Communicate changes in patient condition clearly to the nursing team
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection-control protocols
• Support the interdisciplinary team to help deliver excellent patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — required
• Ability to work a 12-hour day shift (07:00 AM - 07:00 PM) for per-diem assignments
• Willingness to complete facility onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, TB test, immunizations)
• Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
• Reliable transportation to the assignment location

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfortable assisting with ADLs and patient mobility
• Skilled at taking and recording vital signs accurately
• Basic knowledge of infection prevention and safe patient handling
• Good documentation habits and attention to detail
• Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills
