Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shift, schedule to be determined (CNA)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents — assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting
Assist with daily living activities (ADLs) while preserving dignity and independence
Take and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing staff promptly
Document resident care accurately and timely in charts or electronic records
Communicate effectively with nurses, families, and the care team to coordinate care
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control procedures
Support mobility needs including safe transfers and use of assistive devices

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification in Pennsylvania (must be current)
High school diploma or GED preferred
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or obtained upon hire
Ability to pass background check and any facility-required screenings
Compassionate, patient-focused attitude with strong communication skills
Ability to perform physical aspects of the job (lifting, transfers, standing for shifts)

Education

High school diploma or GED
Current CNA certification (required)

Knowledge & Skills

Basic clinical skills: vital signs, feeding, positioning, hygiene care
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Familiarity with charting and documentation best practices
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
Knowledge of infection prevention and safety protocols
