Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, helping with activities of daily living
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility while promoting dignity
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
• Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to protect residents and yourself
• Document care accurately and timely in the patient chart or electronic records
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver person-centered care
• Participate in routines and activities that promote resident engagement and well-being

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential — active in your state or eligible to obtain
• Prior experience as a CNA is a plus, but enthusiastic new CNAs are encouraged to apply
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen and required health screenings
• Basic life support/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Strong communication skills and a teamwork mindset
• Reliable attendance and ability to work assigned shifts

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Fundamentals of resident care and activities of daily living
• Basic infection control practices and safe patient handling
• Comfortable with documentation and following care plans
• Good interpersonal skills for interacting with residents and families
• Time management and the ability to prioritize tasks during a shift
