Roles & Responsibilities

• Support cardiac catheterization procedures by preparing equipment, setting up Impella and IABP devices, and assisting the team during LHC/RHC and PCI cases
• Operate and monitor ventilator support as needed during procedures
• Collaborate with RNs and physicians to maintain a 1:1 patient focus during cases and ensure patient safety
• Maintain and troubleshoot GE imaging equipment and ensure readiness of cath lab supplies
• Document procedures accurately in the Meditech EMR and communicate changes clearly to the care team
• Participate in on-call rotations as required to support urgent cases

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience (explicitly required)
• Hands-on experience with Impella and IABP devices and ventilator management
• Proven ability to assist with LHC, RHC, PCI and related cardiac procedures
• Comfortable working independently with a strong, positive work ethic
• Experience with Meditech EMR is required or highly preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient with cardiac procedures: LHC, RHC, PCI, shockwave, PPM
• Familiarity with Impella and IABP device setup and management
• Experience with ventilator use in procedural settings
• Knowledge of GE imaging equipment used in cath labs
• Preferred: vascular/peripheral intervention and EP experience
• Strong situational awareness, independent problem solving, and teamwork
