Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic echocardiography studies (adult and pediatric) including TEE, stress echo, and routine imaging
• Operate GE ultrasound equipment and utilize contrast agents and bubble studies when indicated
• Document findings accurately in Epic and communicate results to the interdisciplinary care team
• Adapt care for diverse patient populations including NICU, pediatric, adolescent and adult patients
• Maintain patient safety, infection control, and professional standards on every shift
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond promptly to urgent imaging needs

Qualifications

• RDMS - AB required
• BLS required
• ARDMS, CCI, ARRT Sonography, or RDCS Adult preferred
• Minimum 2 years of echocardiography experience preferred (first-timers accepted)
• Experience with TEE, stress echo (treadmill and pharmacologic), M-Mode and imaging with contrast agents preferred
• Ability to work 3x12 day shifts and participate in on-call coverage
• Pending licenses are not accepted — active state licensure required
• Comfortable charting in Epic and working with GE ultrasound equipment

Knowledge & Skills

• Echocardiography: Adult and Pediatric Echo
• Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE) and Stress Echo (treadmill & pharmacologic)
• M-Mode, 3-D Echo, Bubble Study and Imaging with Contrast Agents
• Experience scanning complex anomalies and working in NICU/pediatric settings
• Familiarity with GE ultrasound systems
• Proficient charting/documentation in Epic
• Strong patient communication and interdisciplinary teamwork
