Shift Type: As-needed (Per Diem), nights, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living — bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding — with respect and dignity
- Monitor and record vital signs and promptly report changes to nursing staff
- Support rehabilitation goals by assisting with mobility, transfers, and exercise programs
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and follow assigned care plans
- Follow infection control, safety protocols, and facility policies
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with residents, families, and the care team
- Contribute to a positive, person-centered environment that promotes independence
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification or completion of an accredited GNA program
- CPR/BLS certification required or obtained upon hire
- Ability to work overnight shifts and flexible per diem schedules
- Comfortable assisting with transfers and mobility; strong focus on safe body mechanics
- Excellent communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and meet facility health requirements
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of an accredited GNA program or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of geriatric care principles and common age-related conditions
- Hands-on experience with ADLs and mobility assistance
- Basic vital sign measurement and documentation skills
- Good time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
- Compassion, patience, and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a rehab interdisciplinary team
