Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain x-ray, fluoroscopic, c-arm, CT and MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Assist radiologists during interventional procedures using CT and fluoroscopic guidance
• Administer or assist with contrast media per radiologist orders with attention to safety
• Perform quality control checks and maintain radiology area compliance with Federal, State and DNV standards
• Prepare and position patients safely and compassionately, using positioning aides as needed
• Transport patients according to ability and departmental protocols
• Keep rooms clean, restocked, and ready for the next patient; maintain logs and reports
• Support radiology student training and assist with administrative and scheduling tasks

Qualifications

• Certification or registry in relevant modality preferred (ARRT or equivalent) or eligible
• State licensure for radiologic technology in Colorado, or ability to obtain licensure
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or willingness to obtain
• Demonstrated experience operating MRI, CT, X-ray, fluoroscopy and c-arm equipment
• Experience with contrast administration and interventional procedure assistance
• Strong understanding of sterile technique, universal precautions, and patient safety
• Ability to work weekend-focused schedule and participate in occasional day-call rotation

Education

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field, or equivalent clinical experience

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient positioning and safe patient handling
• Sterile technique and Universal Precautions
• Radiology equipment operation (MRI, CT, X-ray, fluoroscopy, c-arm)
• Contrast administration and image processing skills
• Quality control procedures for imaging modalities
• Assisting radiologists during interventional procedures
• Patient transport, scheduling assistance and basic administrative tasks
• Training and mentoring radiology students
