Roles & Responsibilities

• Support diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures with expert scrub and technique
• Assist the electrophysiology team during EP studies and device implant cases
• Operate, maintain and troubleshoot cath lab and EP equipment to ensure smooth procedures
• Follow AHA protocols and ensure patient safety, monitoring, and documentation throughout procedures
• Prepare procedural supplies, inventory, and device implants for structural heart and EP cases
• Participate in night and weekend on-call rotation to provide continuous patient support
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and techs to deliver efficient, high-quality care and an excellent patient experience

Qualifications

• RCES, RCIS or ARRT (RT) required — VI or CI certification required
• Electrophysiology (EP) and structural heart experience required
• BLS and ACLS through the American Heart Association (AHA) — no exceptions
• Minimum 3 years of Cath Lab and EP experience — must meet the 3-year requirement
• Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization and device implants
• Prior traveler assignment or on-call rotation experience is a plus
• Valid state licensure as required by facility/policy

• Cardiac Catheterization (diagnostic and interventional)
• Electrophysiology procedures and device implant support

• Scrub and sterile technique for cath lab and EP cases
• RCES/RCIS/ARRT credential knowledge and device handling
• Proficiency with cath lab imaging and monitoring equipment
• On-call workflow and emergency procedural readiness
• Strong communication and teamwork in procedural settings
