Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray and CT examinations, delivering clear images for accurate diagnoses
• Operate fluoroscopy equipment and assist with OR imaging and orthopedic procedures safely and efficiently
• Provide patient-focused care: prepare patients, explain procedures, and ensure comfort and safety
• Apply radiation safety and infection control practices to protect patients and staff
• Collaborate with radiologists, surgeons, and multidisciplinary teams across oncology, neurosurgery, pediatrics, and more
• Maintain accurate documentation and enter imaging data into PACS and electronic medical records
• Troubleshoot equipment issues, perform routine QC checks, and escalate maintenance needs promptly
• Step into a leadership role when needed—work autonomously and support less experienced staff

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification required
• ARRT (CT) certification required
• CT Certification required
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers (AHA) required
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
• Experience with fluoroscopy, OR imaging, orthopedic imaging, X-ray, and CT
• Comfortable working autonomously in a sometimes high-volume/hectic environment
• Experience across multiple clinic settings (family practice, internal medicine, urology, women’s health, pediatrics) is a strong plus
• Willingness to work Friday-Monday schedule and respond to on-call shifts as needed
• Required documentation at submission: skills sheet, AHA BLS copy, ARRT (R) and (CT) certifications, resume, proof of flu vaccine

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of CT protocols and cross-sectional imaging
• Skill in radiographic positioning and producing diagnostic-quality films
• Fluoroscopy technique and radiation safety expertise
• Familiarity with PACS, RIS, and basic image post-processing
• Ability to perform OR imaging with sterile technique and team coordination
• Excellent patient communication and bedside manner
• Time management and adaptability in a fast-paced healthcare setting
• Critical thinking for image evaluation and problem solving during procedures
