Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week; schedule to be determined upon hire

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high quality general ultrasound including abdomen, OB/GYN, and vascular studies in accordance with policies and procedures.
Competently set up and assist radiologists during procedures.
Use EMR systems to generate and complete exam orders.
Conduct, record, and analyze QC data to maintain accuracy and precision.
Maintain a safe and efficient working environment by performing equipment checks and cleaning.
Ensure regular attendance and minimal unplanned time off.

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited school of ultrasound.
Minimum 2 years of experience as an ultrasound technologist.
BLS/BCLS certification required.
ARDMS certification in Abdomen (AB), OB/GYN (OB), and/or RVT preferred.
Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and patient care skills.

Education

Graduate from an accredited school of ultrasound

Knowledge & Skills

General, abdominal, OB/GYN, and vascular ultrasound techniques
PACS and EMR systems proficiency
QC data analysis and equipment maintenance
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Effective time management and analytical skills
Ability to mentor and train team members
