Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 35

Candidate Pay Rate: $54 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients with acute and chronic conditions to improve mobility and function
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to coordinate comprehensive patient care
Document patient progress accurately and adjust treatment goals as needed
Educate patients and families on exercises and strategies for long-term wellness and injury prevention

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist license in North Carolina (or compact license eligible)
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT or MPT)
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Previous experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred but new graduates welcome to apply

Education

Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise prescription
Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems
