Location: Lynwood, California

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Days, 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week, with on-call requirement (10 days per month, 4 of which must be weekends: Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $125 - $87.5 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
Monitor patient vital signs and hemodynamics during procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
Administer medications and contrast media as ordered
Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in electronic health records
Educate patients and families about pre- and post-procedure care

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab experience preferred
BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association required
Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation
Knowledge of sterile technique and infection control
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Comfortable with on-call responsibilities and flexible scheduling
